We provide bouncy castles for a wide range of fun occasions—birthday parties, family gatherings, school events, community fairs, and any celebration where kids (especially under 8) want to bounce and have a great time!
We offer free delivery within Zone A (0–25 km) from Christchurch city centre, which includes Parklands, North Beach, New Brighton, Kaiapoi, Sumner, and hill suburbs.
A $50 travel fee applies for Zone B (25–45 km), covering areas such as Rangiora, Rolleston, Lincoln, and Pegasus. If you're unsure which zone you're in, just ask—we’re happy to help!

You’ll need a flat grass area of at least 8m x 8m, with 5–6m of vertical clearance (no low trees or powerlines). The entrance gate or access path should be at least 1.2m wide to allow the castle to be brought in easily. You’ll also need access to a power point within 20 metres, and an adult (18+) to supervise while the castle is in use. This gives us plenty of room to set up safely and ensures everything runs smoothly on the day.
Our castles are designed for outdoor grass setups only. If you’re planning an indoor event or only have concrete, feel free to get in touch—we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Our castles are designed for kids, not adults (sorry big kids). We’ll let you know the recommended max number of children and total weight for each castle when you book.
Nope! At Lucky Bouncy Castles, we like to keep things simple—no deposit or bond required. Just book, bounce, and enjoy!
Yes please! Before we arrive, make sure the setup space is free of toys, garden equipment, and anything that might get in the way. If you have pets, a quick tidy-up of the lawn is much appreciated to help keep things clean and fun for everyone.
Absolutely! We’ll deliver, set up, anchor, and pack down the castle—so you can sit back and enjoy the fun hassle-free.
Our standard hire is for up to 6 hours, but we’re flexible! If you’re after a full-day hire or have specific timing in mind, just let us know when booking—we’ll do our best to make it work.
Yes—adult supervision (18+) is essential at all times. It’s the best way to keep everyone safe and happy while they bounce.
We love our furry friends and want to keep them close by, but for safety and cleanliness, we ask that your furry friends are kept away from the castle during the hire.
We ask that you avoid face paint, glitter, confetti, silly string, sharp objects, and food on the castle. These can stain or damage the surface. A quick wipe of the face and hands before bouncing is the best way to keep things clean and safe for everyone!
Safety comes first. If it’s raining heavily or too windy, we will cancel your booking and work with you to reschedule on an alternative date. Inflatables can become unsafe in these conditions, and we won’t risk anyone getting hurt. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and keep you informed if the weather isn’t looking suitable.
Sorry, we ask that you don’t move the castle once it’s been set up. It needs to be secured properly in place for safety reasons. If you need to adjust anything, just get in touch and we’ll help out.
Booking is simple and quick! Just choose your favourite castle from our website, fill out the online booking form, and submit your request. Once we confirm your booking, we’ll send you a safety waiver to complete. Then, sit back and relax—we’ll handle delivery, setup, and pack down on the day of your event!
We accept payment via internet banking at least 24 hours before your hire starts, or cash on the day—prior to setup.
Yes! We’ll send you a text reminder a day or two before your booking to confirm the details and help you prepare for a fun, stress-free day.
Absolutely—we know life happens! Just let us know as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to reschedule your booking. No fees for weather-related cancellations. If you need to cancel the day before your booking, please get in touch promptly so we can try to accommodate you or offer alternative dates.
We get it—sometimes plans change! If you need to cancel for any reason, just let us know as soon as you can. We don’t charge cancellation fees, but we really appreciate a heads-up (at least 3 days before your booking if possible) so we can offer the spot to another family.
We understand accidents can happen. If the castle is damaged due to misuse or neglect, there may be a repair or replacement cost. We’ll always chat with you first and be as fair as possible.
At the end of your booking, we’ll return to pack down and collect the castle. There’s no need to deflate it yourself — just make sure the area is clear and that all kids have finished bouncing. We’ll check everything over, pack it down quickly and safely, and be on our way. Easy as that!
